A community science dataset of avian species occurrences from eBird which includes coordinates, date, and taxonomic information. With over one billion observations, an interactive map can be used to download small subsets of this large dataset as a CSV spreadsheet.

How to access: 

Data can be downloaded as a CSV spreadsheet with or without coordinates. If a spatial dataset (e.g. a shapefile) is desired, software or coding languages with geospatial capabilities (e.g., GIS, QGIS, R, Python) will be needed to convert between CSV and spatial data formats.
