The Caribbean project, also one of several recent ecological improvements at Google’s Mountain View campus, is still in progress. Detailed planting plans have not yet been finalized. Once completed the site will include multiple habitat patches, two green roofs, and new riparian plantings and enhancements. The total lot size for the project is just over 40 acres, and a projected native landscaping area of about 18 acres and additional 2 acres of native plantings along the west channel. More than 1700 native trees are planned for installation, including 471 native oaks.
